Dajia Anvil Mountain, located in Dajia District, Taichung City, is named after its shape like an anvil. It used to be a military center but has now become a good tourist attraction. The attractions of Anvil Mountain include Jianjing - it is said that Zheng Chenggong dug his sword into the ground to obtain a sweet spring, hence the name; Martyrs' Shrine - used to commemorate the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country in the Anti-Japanese War; the Statue of the Prince of Yanping - located on the right side of Guanhai Tower , the majestic statue is 15 meters high.
Follow the longitudinal line from Dajia City to the north for about two kilometers to the entrance fork of Tiezhen Mountain. About fifty meters from the fork, you can first turn right to go to the Dajia District Farmers Association Ice Cream next to the road. Processing factory, buy some local taro ice specialty to try. After tasting the "sweetness" of taro ice, follow the signs up the mountain to Anvil Mountain. First, pass the toll station in the scenic area, and then reach the "Jianjing" where Zheng Chenggong "inserts his sword into a spring" and the water source in the sword well. It is still flowing to this day. Following the elegant hiking trail from Jianjing, you can also visit the "Guoxing Temple". If you follow the road from Jianjing and climb to the top of the mountain, you can reach Zhongzheng Park. From the park, you can overlook the vast Da'an River bed to the north. There are also some parent-child recreational facilities in the park. From the entrance of the park and then follow the road inward, you can reach the statue of Prince Yanping, one of the landmarks on Anvil Mountain. The statue is four feet tall and faces the Taiwan Strait and the rivers and mountains of the mainland. From there, there are the Chinese Military Cemetery and Yongxin Cemetery in Taiwan. You can visit sports parks and other bases.
